Ticket, Seating Deadline & Wait-list Policy
We’re excited to announce some important updates to our ticketing and seating policies aimed at enhancing your experience at The Blue Slipper Theatre and ensuring every show is enjoyed to its fullest. These changes will help us better manage our performances and reduce the occurrence of no-shows and empty seats at sold out performances. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Over recent seasons, we’ve observed that empty seats due to no-shows can negatively impact both our performers and our audience. By adopting these new policies, we’re confident that we can create a more efficient and fair system for everyone. Here’s what you need to know:
All tickets for performances at The Blue Slipper must be purchased online in advance. This new system will streamline our box office operations, speeding up the process when you arrive for a show, and ensure that all reserved seats are paid for. Tickets can be purchased easily through our website by clicking on the Get Tickets button.
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable.
Check-In Deadline: All ticket holders must check in at the box office at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the show. If you haven’t checked in by this time, your seat may be released to someone on the wait-list.
Wait-list Process for sold-out shows: If you’d like to try for a last-minute seat, you can arrive 30 minutes before the show to get on the wait-list. If any reserved seats are unclaimed, they will be offered to wait-listed guests on a first-come, first-served basis. This process is intended to ensure that everyone who wants to attend a performance has the best chance of securing a seat.
Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Over recent seasons, we’ve observed that empty seats due to no-shows can negatively impact both our performers and our audience. By adopting these new policies, we’re confident that we can create a more efficient and fair system for everyone.
